About Spices and Seasonings
Seasoning is the process of adding salt, pepper, spices, and herbs during food preparation. Spices are dried fruits, seeds, barks, or roots used to give flavor, aroma, and color to food. There are many spices available in the market in both ground and whole form, and each spice gives a unique flavor to the food. The use of spices and seasonings has now become an integral part of food preparation, and consumers are trying to use newer varieties of spices, herbs, and spice mixes to experiment with taste and cuisines.
